 ¡ARRANCA EL TORNEO DE LIGA DE LA MEXARK!
Por Rafael Núñez Este fin de semana –sábado 9 y domingo 10 de febrero– arranca el primer torneo corto del año de la Liga MexArk. José Vicente Cano, presidente de la Liga informó que de acuerdo a las peticiones específicas de los equipos tanto de la primera como de la segunda división, se espera que los sábados los partidos se lleven a cabo de 6 p.m. a 10 p.m., con los primeros partidos empezando en los campos de fútbol soccer del parque Otter Creek a las 6 en punto, mientras que los segundos encuentros en cada campo comenzarán al filo de las 8 de la noche. Por otro lado, los domingos los primeros partidos se jugarán de de 8 a.m. a 10 p.m.; los segundos, de 10 a.m. a 12 p.m.; y los últimos, de 12 del mediodía a 2 p.m. |

EL LATINO is a weekly Spanish newspaper serving the Hispanic/Latino community in Central Arkansas. EL LATINO was founded in March 2001, with the mission to educate, assist, and inform the Spanish speaking people of Central Arkansas that could not otherwise understand information released only in English. The newspaper covers the economy, labor, education, immigration, sports, local community and social events, and conducts interviews with Hispanic/Latino residents. The EL LATINO Website offers daily local, national and international (focused mainly on Mexico and Latin America) news updated every 15 minutes by the EFE Spanish Language News Agency. EL LATINO also broadcasts in Spanish monthly on the Arkansas Education Television Network (AETN) TV and daily on radio KABF 88.3 FM.
